Representative of INWEPF Japanese Secretariat (Mr. Hideki Furihata) and Dr.Eisaku Shiratani, Head of Laboratory of Water Environment in National Institute for Rural Engineering participated in the symposium and made a keynote speech titled “ Sustainable Agriculture to Conserve Water Environment in Japan” . And they attended the discussion with staff of INWEPF Thai Committee and Working Groups on 18 June 2010 at Royal Irrigation Department.
